The PadBox Configurator is the official setup tool for the PadBox GS. It runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install. It works with all three firmwares — HOJA2, GP2040-CE and PhobGCC — and replaces the Hoja2 Web Configurator we used before.

Open the PadBox Configurator →

What you can do with it

  • Remap your buttons and set your LED colors
  • Calibrate your stick and tune the snapback filter
  • Choose your default mode (Switch, PC, GameCube, N64, SNES…)
  • Back up and restore your settings
  • Update your firmware, or switch to another one, in one click

Before you start

  • Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a computer (Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS). Safari, Firefox and phones are not supported.
  • Use a USB data cable. Some cables only charge; if nothing shows up, try another cable.

Connect your PadBox

  1. Open arkodd.github.io/padbox.
  2. Plug in your PadBox:
    • HOJA2: just plug it in.
    • GP2040-CE and PhobGCC: hold START while plugging it in.
  3. Click CONNECT (or CONNECT PHOBGCC), choose your PadBox in the list and click Connect.

Bought your PadBox before the Configurator came out? Click UPDATE AN OLDER PADBOX on the connect screen first to install the latest firmware.
