PadBox GS [CrossPlatform] — Firmware Update

Updating the firmware on your Padbox GS (Crossplatform) is simple and only takes a few minutes.

1. Enter Update Mode

Hold SELECT + HOME while plugging your Padbox into your PC.
This will put the controller into firmware update mode.

2. Open the Brook Update Page

Go to the official Brook firmware update tool (use chrome browser):

3. Connect the Padbox

On the Brook page, click the “Connect” button.
A small window will appear — select WPM USB (your Padbox GS device) and click Connect.

4. Start the Update

Once connected, click “Update” on the page.
Wait for the process to finish — it usually takes less than a minute.

When complete, your Padbox will automatically reboot with the latest firmware installed.

Troubleshooting

  • If the Padbox isn’t detected, try a different USB-C data cable or USB port.
  • Make sure you are holding SELECT + HOME while plugging it in.
  • If the connection window doesn’t appear, refresh the page and try again.
  • Avoid unplugging the controller during the update.
